Can we speak of a genuine Finnish contemporary art? And if it is possible, how does it manifest? hablarenarte: reflects in this exhibition whether there is a link between nationality, identity and the newest contemporary creation.
To coincide with “Ingràvid. Festival de Cultura Contemporánea del Empordà”, hablarenarte: is presenting a programme of public interventions by artists Carlos Maciá, Marlon de Azambuja, Fernando García and La Más Bella.
The MNCARS displays a wide selection of works and interventions by artist Eulàlia Valldosera in its galleries. The aim is to undertake a pilot experience in cultural mediation to make the artist’s work better known by the visiting public.
Curated by Maria Azcoitia, Espacios Vitales is an exhibtion in which seven artists intervene in public spaces of the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid. The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue and a conference.
The publication "Espacios Vitales. Art and creation in the UAM" collects the documentation material of the exhibition of the same name held at the Universidad Autonoma in Madrid in late 2007.
On the occasion of the second edition of The White Night (La noche en blanco), the artist Georges Rousse was invited to make an intervention in the space of Matadero Madrid with the help of young, local artists.
Ron Haselden converts the facade of the emblematic Edificio España at Plaza España in a huge screen. The intervention is created together with 500 volunteers that are coordinated by hablarenarte:
