Workshops for Families "The Architect is Present"
Museo ICO. Calle Zorrilla, 3. Madrid
The ICO Museum invites to tour the five continents with a focus on architecture. The Architect is Present showcases the work of Anupama Kundoo, Anna Heringer, Diébédo Kéré Francis Solano Benitez and the group TYIN, explaining the work of an architect in a precarious work environment and how the precarious economy shortages can be a creative incentive of sustainability, beauty and emotion. The museum will also become a laboratory of creation, since each of them will give a workshop for young students of architecture, whose projects will become part of the exhibition itself.
Our activity begins with a dynamic visit in which we will learn about the principles of responsible architecture in different parts of the world. In the workshop that follows up, the participating families will experience how it is possible to build more with less through recycling and sustainable use of resources. Each participant will also receive an activity booklet published to accompany the exhibition.
Located in the Paseo del Arte Madrid , ICO Museum has among its objectives to present the architecture through an ambitious program that delves into the various aspects that make up the discipline and its main figures. We are happy to welcome you there!
