Summer School at Museo ICO 2014
Museo ICO. Calle Zorrilla, 3. Madrid
The Summer School is titled “Objective: architecture. Photograpers for the city”, a theme that is borrowed from the temporary exhibition Fotografía y Arquitectura Moderna en España, 1925-1965, held in the framework of the 18th edition of the festival PHotoEspaña.
The week-long workshops show the participants to discover new ways of looking at the buildings of our city and through the lenses of their cameras.
We will use the exhibition as the point of departure for the Summer Schools, where we can discover how the architecture and the photography of architecture have developed during Modernity and together we will look for new formulas to refurbish this genre There will be workshops, games, and occasional outings to the surroundings of the museum. The results of each weeks work will be on display at a final exhibition during the Saturdays that is open for families and friends who want to share with us the last day of each Summer School.
