Promotion of Spanish Contemporary Art in ARCO 2019

The programme for promoting Spanish art in ARCOmadrid 2019 consists of devising a professional and personalised tour for the international guests at the fair, led by curators who are either Spanish or resident in Spain.

The aim is to enable each professional guest to meet with gallery owners and artists within their sphere of interest. This  service provides a unique chance to see the fair through the eyes of a specialist curator on the Spanish scene, thus encouraging future partnerships between Spain and other countries.

In its sixth edition, we invited the following Spanish curators to work with us: Jordi Antas, Alfredo Aracil, Susana Bañuelos, Angel Calvo Ulloa, Blanca de la Torre, Diego del Pozo, Marta Echaves, Carlos Fernández Pello, Alba Folgado, Rafael Barber, Ana García Alarcón, Jaime González Cela, Isabella Lenzi, Andrea Pacheco, Manuela Pedrón Nicolau y Cristina Ramos González.
