Músicas Memorables II - #3 Concerts
Seville, Zaragoza & Palma de Mallorca
From March 24 to May 30, 2021
In the third and final phase of the project Músicas Memorables (Memorable Musics), the artists Christián Fernández Mirón, Le Parody and Julián Mayorga go on a musical tour to the three cities where the laboratories took place: Seville, Zaragoza and Palma.
By way of return and reunion with the communities participating in the project, the three artists have worked in a process of shared creation based on the stories told in the ‘oral traditions’ laboratories, generating new materials through composition, recording and editing. They have revisited the recordings gathered during the meetings with the groups of elderly people to develop a new repertoire, which will materialize during the concerts.
Each concert will be unique, prepared in dialogue with the participants, who may even participate in its staging.
The schedule and dates are:

ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
Sole Parody is and Andalusian artist who works with music and text. Known musically as Le Parody, she has released two albums: CÁSALA (sound / track), in 2012 and Hondo in 2015. In her compositions she mixes folklore and electronics and since the release of her first album she has toured widely, with concerts inside and outside of Spain. In addition, in 2016 she published the poetry book "What America Can", signed as Billy Morreale. Le Parody is an artist who has managed to develop her career in the gaps between self-management and industry.
Julián Mayorga is a Colombian musician emerging from the riskiest wing of the new Latin tropical scene. He collects elements of popular songs, electronics, Colombian folklore and psychedelia through experimentation. With lyrics full of humor, surrealism and an energetic show with its own mythology and eccentric visual animations, he has participated in festivals such as Sónar Reykjavik (Iceland, 2018), Sónar Barcelona (Spain, 2017) and RBMA Montréal (Canada, 2016), among others.
Christian Fernández Mirón works with projects that cover art, education, music and design. He was a founding member of the ¡JA! Collective, a member of GED (Grupo de Educación de Matadero Madrid); he has developed soundtracks and musical projects such as the FOCO free improvisation orchestra or the contemporary opera Todos caníbales. He has worked in initiatives both in the independent and institutional fields that have led him to have extensive experience in projects specifically designed for adolescents, children, families, adults and the elderly; questioning and exploring established pedagogies, sensitivities and formats.
