I Reading Camp at Casa del Lector

Casa del Lector launches their first Reading Camp, a week-long program for children and young people from 4 to 16 years old. During the summer school holidays, the participants will experiment with different ways of reading, whereas reading is not so much understood as an ability or skill to actually read “writing”, but more as vital attitude towards interpreting and understanding the world around us. In a nutshell: Casa del Lector whishes to educate the XXI century reader: the thinking, analytical, critical, creative and supportive citizen.

Three of the many activities of the Readers Camp are organized and carried out by hablarenarte: . For children from 4 to 8 we organize a workshop and guided tour through the exhibition "Bedside Reading"; the 9 to 12 years old can apply for the workshop “The writers of images", and teenagers (13 to 16 years) are invited to the workshop “Visible Narratives".

Casa del Lector will carry out the Summer Camp during each of the following four weeks (always from Monday to Friday):

24 - 27 of June
1 - 5 of July
8 - 12 of July
2 - 6 of September
