Workshop for Teenagers at Museo ICO: «Travel to Brobdingnag, the land of the giants»
Museo ICO. Calle Zorrilla, 3. Madrid
One more year, Museo ICO and hablarenarte: set aside some time in Christmas for young people with a new edition of workshops for paticipants between 13 and 17 years old.
"Travel to Brobdingnag, the land of the giants" is a suggestive proposal to explore and interpret the relations between architecture and art through the eyes of a new Gulliver. During the activity, we will experience how architects have always had a certain fascination to change the scale of the real in order to design and think on their buildings, inhabiting through their imagination the spaces and objects that surround us.
The workshop will be held in the context of the exhibition dedicated to the multifaceted artist and architect Juan Navarro Baldeweg, National Architecture Award 2014. The knowledge on his work adquired at the exhibition space will lead to the development of a workshop on collaborative creation through three days, designed and executed by Paula Caballero and Diego Colón (Caballero Colón studio).
